A scene from the upcoming Fast & Furious 7 that shows actor Paul Walker promising "one more" funeral that was leaked on Nov. 27 has taken on a haunting quality in the aftermath of the actor's death on Saturday.

In the scene, which was posted just three days before Walker's death, the Fast & Furious characters played by Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson and Walker gather at the funeral of deceased franchise stars Han & Giesle.

"Promise me Brian," Gibson's character says to Walker. "No more funerals."

" Just one more ," Walker returns, promising vengeance on franchise villain Ian Shaw (Jason Statham):

Jim Torp, who was attending the charity event at which the fatal crash took place, said he heard the loud sound of a car's engine revving and then an explosion. Walker and Rodas planned a quick ride in the 2005 red Porsche Carrera GT, Torp said.

"The last words Paul said to anybody were, 'Hey, I'll be back in five minutes. All right?' And that was it," according to Torp.

On Sunday, Gibson visited the scene of the fiery car crash that took Walker's life, breaking down in tears at the sight of the wreck.

"I will keep your energy with me forever," Gibson wrote alongside a photo of ashes from the crash scene. "Paul is the heartbeat of this franchise and we're gonna see to it that his energy and presence lives on forever."

Gibson also posted a video of the Fast & Furious cast and crew celebrating Walker's 40th birthday earlier this year. "Not just a family on camera," Gibson wrote. "We're a real family."

Walker's fellow Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel wrote on Sunday that he was "speechless" at the lost of his friend and "brother."

"We aimed for the stars together," Diesel wrote on Twitter , "and achieved more than we ever hoped we could with F&F."

Meanwhile, RadarOnline is reporting that the 8-year-old son of Roger Rodas, the man who was driving the red Porsche when it crashed, had jumped a fence in an attempt to free his father from the car. Several attendees at the Typhoon Haiyan fundraiser where the crash happened also rushed to the scene of the accident with fire extinguishers – but the car was up in flames too quickly.

"We all ran around and jumped in cars and grabbed fire extinguishers and immediately went to the vehicle," Walker's friend Antonio Holmes told the Santa Clara Valley Signal. "It was engulfed in flames. There was nothing. They were trapped. … We tried. We tried. We went through fire extinguishers."

TMZ is reporting that police are investigating the possibility that Rogas and Walter were street-racing another car at the time of the accident. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has said that "speed was a factor" in the crash, which reportedly took place less than a minute after Walker and Rodas hopped into the Porsche.

The Los Angeles Coroner's office has requested dental records for both men in the vehicle, as their bodies could not be immediately identified.

Walker, who was 40 years old at the time of his death, leaves behind a 15-year-old daughter, Meadow. Fast & Furious 7 , his penultimate film, is scheduled for a July 2014 release. Brick Mansions, the actor's final film, will hit theatres in November of next year.
